Shops are accessible buildings in Adopt Me! located in several places around Adoption Island. Shops have a variety of different items that are available for purchase, such as pets, vehicles, toys, strollers and foods.

The Coffee Shop is located next to the entrance to the neighborhood. The building is shaped like a red mug with whipped cream on top. Players can purchase drinks such as Tea and Coffee or purchase Honey for 169 to tame a Bee, King Bee, or Queen Bee. The Toy Shop is located behind the Pizza Shop. Players can purchase toys in the shop. Different variations of the toys that are in the Toy Shop can be found in Gifts or can be bought during events. The Ice Cream Shop is located beside the entrance to the neighborhood, and is one of the two places where players can buy ice cream cones (the other being the Ice Cream Truck). Players can also purchase Golden Goldfish for 195 to tame a Choco Penguin, Vanilla Penguin, or Strawberry Penguin. A Cone or Cup is required to add these toppings, and up to three toppings can be added to each. The Pizza Shop is located beside the Toy Shop. It is a shop that gives players the ability to get jobs, provides players with food items, and fulfills the 'Pizza Party' ailment. It has a jukebox, as well as several tables which players and pets can sit at. There is a kitchen with pizza ovens and a table full of ingredients, helping players customize the Pizzas to their liking. There is also a manager's office. Pizza is required to add these toppings. The Green Groceries is located next to the Safety Hub. It is a shop where players can buy various food items. The Green Groceries contains the entrance to the Farm Shop. The Camping Shop is located at the entrance to the Campsite. The Nursery is located in the center of Adoption Island. In the Nursery, players can adopt babies, buy eggs, and access the VIP Room, if they have bought the gamepass. The Retired Egg can be found and purchased in the VIP Room. The Beach Shop is a shop where players can buy different pool-related items or pets. The Beach Shop replaced the Pool Shop. The Baby Shop is located near the Playground. It sells baby-related items, such as strollers and toys. The Pet Shop is located at the center of Adoption Island, near the Hospital. It is a shop that sells pet-related items, gamepass pets, and contains the Vault. The Vehicle Dealership is located beside the entrance to the neighborhood. In the Vehicle Dealership, players can purchase vehicles. The Cat Cafe was introduced on September 18, 2026, and is located next to the Vehicle Dealership. In the Cat Cafe, players can purchase food items and tame a Cattuccino, Catte, or Matcha Cat using the Kitty Biscuit. The Sky Castle is located in the sky above Adoption Island. It can be accessed with the Hot Air Balloon, a flying pet, a Glider, a grappling hook, a furniture item from a player's house, or a propeller. It sells potions and the Balloon Stroller on the first floor. The Potion Shop was located next to the Baby Shop, which is now located next to the Playground. Players could purchase potions in the shop. The Clothing Store was located in between the Playground and the Pool Party. It was removed when the Dress Your Pets Live Event was released to make room for the Accessory Shop. Currently, the Baby Shop is in its place. Various articles of clothing could be purchased in the Clothing Store for Bucks, such as wings and trails, which can now only be found in the dressing menu. The Clothing Store was the only way players could change their Roblox avatar in Adopt Me!. The Pool Shop was previously located at the Pool Party. Players could purchase different pool-related items. The Pool Shop replaced the Hot Spring Shop. It was removed on March 7, 2024, and was replaced by the Beach Shop. The Farm Shop was a shop where players could buy food and drink items to fulfill the Hungry and thirsty tasks. The Farm Shop was an extension of the Green Groceries and the entrance could be found in one of its fridges. Players could also purchase Diamond Lavenders for 169 to tame a Ladybug, Golden Ladybug, or Diamond Ladybug.
