Availability
The Yarn Apple is a limited ultra-rare toy in Adopt Me! that was released on October 3, 2025, alongside the Halloween Event (2025). Players were able to obtain it through picking an item from the Headless Horseman's Grab Bag, which could be done for free every 10 minutes. There was an 8% chance of receiving one Yarn Apple, and a 2% chance of receiving three Yarn Apples from the Headless Horseman's Grab Bag. It could also be earned through reaching room 50 of The Hauntlet minigame, as a rare reward from the Sleep or Treat minigame, and upon joining the game for the first time after the event's release. A free Yarn Apple was rewarded to all players who participated in Admin Abuse on November 1, 2025. The Yarn Apple could otherwise be obtained through purchasing a bundle of 5 of 250. It is now only obtainable through trading, as it left the game on November 3, 2025.
Notes
During the Halloween Event (2025), players were able to gain 5-10% progress on taming a Kitty Bat when using a Yarn Apple. After the event ended, the Yarn Apple was changed to serve the purpose of a throw toy. When interacted with, the player throws the Yarn Apple, and their equipped pet will fetch it. The pet holds it in its mouth until the player picks up the item. This item can be used to fulfill the 'catch' ailment on pets. When specifically requested by a pet for this ailment, it provides a 3x Bucks and XP bonus. This pet was obtainable from the Yarn Apple.
